Narvar App for Gorgias
Installation Guide
Version 1.0 · September 23, 2026
Overview
Narvar Connect and Care brings order details and real-time shipment, return, and notification information directly into your Gorgias ticket sidebar — helping you improve CSAT, reduce WISMO/WISMR contact costs, and build brand confidence.
With the app installed and connected, your agents can:
- View order details and real-time statuses of outbound and return shipments without leaving the ticket.
- See the notifications (email, SMS) sent to the customer for an order.
- Search orders by email, phone number, or order number directly from the Gorgias ticket sidebar.
Estimated setup time: Under 2 minutes.
Note: The production app is named Narvar in the Gorgias App Store. Screenshots in this guide are from our staging environment (shown as “Narvar-staging”) while the listing is under review with Gorgias — the production experience is the same.
Before You Begin
Make sure the person performing the setup has:
- Gorgias Admin access — required to authorize the app and approve its permissions.
- Narvar Hub Admin (or equivalent) access — required to sign in to Narvar and confirm the connection.
Note: Both permission levels are needed by the same person during setup, since the connection flow moves between Gorgias and Narvar.
Step 1: Open the Narvar App and Click Authorize
Search for Narvar App in Gorgias App Store, open the app, and click Authorise under set up
Note: While the app is pending Gorgias’s review, this page also shows a “has not been approved by Gorgias” notice — that’s expected and will go away once Gorgias approves the listing.
Step 2: Confirm Authorization in Narvar
Clicking Authorize redirects you to Narvar’s Confirm authorization screen. Review the retailer moniker, Gorgias account (instance URL), and the user you’re connecting as — verify these are correct, then click Confirm.
Step 3: Approve the Authorization Screen in Gorgias
After confirming in Narvar, you’re redirected back to Gorgias to complete the authorization. The screen confirms what Narvar is requesting — basic helpdesk data (your name and email) plus read & write access to all resources. While the app is pending Gorgias’s review, click Authorize unapproved app to continue; once Gorgias approves the app, this button will read simply Authorize.
Step 4: Verify the Connection
Once approved, you’re redirected back to Narvar Hub, where a “Gorgias Account Connected” confirmation shows the connected Gorgias email, user, instance, and connection date.
Step 5 (Optional): Add Multiple Brands
If you manage multiple brands (Narvar retailer monikers) under the same Gorgias account, add them under Settings → Multi Brand on the same Gorgias settings page. This lets agents access all of your Narvar monikers from a single Gorgias helpdesk.
Note: The brands you add must have a parent-child relationship in Narvar, or the Multi Brand dropdown won’t show any options.
How to Validate the Integration Is Working
- Create a test ticket in Gorgias and refresh the page — the Narvar widget should appear in the right sidebar after the refresh.
- Once the integration is live, any new ticket an agent opens shows the widget automatically. If the agent creates the ticket themselves, they’ll need to refresh the page once to see it.
- For tickets that already existed before the integration was enabled, the widget appears once an agent makes any update to that ticket.
How to Use the Narvar App
Agents can search by order ID, email, or phone number from the Narvar panel in the ticket sidebar.
- Searching by phone number requires the +country code prefix.
- Searching by email or phone number returns the customer’s recent order list.
- Searching by order ID returns the details of that specific order.
Each order returned includes the following sections:
- Order summary — order ID, date placed, total, item count, and brand.
- Items — the items in the order, with SKU, unit price, and quantity.
- Shipments — outbound shipments with carrier, tracking number, estimated delivery date, and shipping/billing addresses.
- Returns — returns filed for the order, each with its own items and return shipments.
- Notifications — the emails and SMS sent to the customer for that order; click View notifications to see them.
- Initiate return link — opens the Narvar return portal so the agent can start a return on the customer’s behalf.
Editing Your Settings Later
You can revisit your Gorgias integration settings (Multi Brand and connection details) at any time from Partnerships → Gorgias in Narvar Hub.
Disconnecting the Integration
Clicking Disconnect immediately:
- Removes the Narvar sidebar widget from all Gorgias tickets
- Deletes the HTTP integration from your Gorgias account
- Revokes Narvar’s OAuth access to your Gorgias instance
- Deletes stored tokens for this account
Your Narvar order data and Hub configuration are unaffected, and you can reconnect at any time.
